This policy explains what personal information CS Computers & Tech Solution ("CS Technologies", "we", "us") collects when you use this website or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

CS Computers & Tech Solution is a registered company in Tanzania, with a head office in Makumbusho, Kinondoni and a branch in Sinza Palestina, Ubungo, Dar es Salaam. We sell and repair computers, provide the DukaSuite point-of-sale system, and install CCTV and computer networks.

Information we collect

This website does not have accounts, forms or online payments, and we do not ask you to enter personal information on it. We collect information only when you choose to contact us or do business with us:

• Contact details such as your name, phone number, email address and business name, when you call, email, message us on social media or visit the shop.
• Details of your request, such as the products you ask about, the site where you need an installation, or the device you bring for repair.
• Purchase and service records, such as receipts, invoices, warranties and repair history.

When you visit the website, your browser automatically shares basic technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) with the servers that deliver the page and its fonts. We do not use this to identify you.

How we use your information

• To answer your questions and send quotes.
• To sell, deliver, install and support the products and services you request.
• To handle repairs, warranties and after-sales support.
• To keep business and tax records as required by Tanzanian law.
• To tell you about offers or new stock, only if you have agreed to hear from us. You can ask us to stop at any time.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only when needed to serve you, for example with suppliers or manufacturers for warranty claims, with delivery providers, or with professional advisers. We may also share information when the law requires it, such as with the Tanzania Revenue Authority or other authorities.

CCTV and installation work

When we install CCTV or network equipment at your premises, the recordings and data on those systems belong to you. Our technicians access them only as needed to install, configure, maintain or repair the system, and only with your permission.

DukaSuite

DukaSuite is our point-of-sale software. Business data entered into DukaSuite (such as sales, stock and customer records) is handled under the DukaSuite terms and privacy policy, available at dukasuite.com.

Links to other websites

This website links to Google Maps, Instagram, TikTok and dukasuite.com. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including the periods required for tax, accounting and warranty records. After that we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.

How we protect it

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we limit access to staff who need it to do their work.

Your rights

Under Tanzania's data protection law, including the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy.
• Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
• Delete your information when we no longer need it.
• Stop using your information for marketing.
